Re: SWN Interview Format Changes
Dear Colleagues:
We are sending this email to you because you are either a past participant in our Spiritual World Net programs or consultative meetings, or have expressed interest in this innovative program for spiritual directors.
We want to let you know of some upcoming improvements to the Spiritual World Net program format. Some of you have experienced challenges with the audio and/or video components of our program series on our WebEx system. Because of this, we are making a change for the remainder of this program semester. Instead of using the WebEx system for our October and two November programs, we are going to record a 30-minute interview with our authors which will be available on our web site: www.spiritualworldnet.com.
You will have the opportunity to review this interview material anytime during the week preceding the scheduled program date (see above listing). Then, at 7;30 p.m. EST on each program date, we will conduct a 30-minute live Q&A session with the author over an open telephone line. This should help us avoid all the technical and audio feedback problems some of you have been encountering, and also provide a clean recording for future use in your programs.
In addition, Sandra V. Padilla will be available at 6:30 p.m. EST on these evenings to help you set up to view the 7:00 p.m. video broadcast if you haven’t already had the opportunity to see it.
We regret the technical challenges we have faced over the past three months, and are exploring several different options to make our remaining 2009 and upcoming 2010 programs better than ever and easier for all of you to participate in, utilize and navigate.
